Twitter ha generato un boom (che personalmente non capisco) che Google chiaramente non poteva perdere. Proprio per questo é stato acquisito poche ore fa Jaiku, un sistema che permette il cosiddetto “Active Streaming”, in concreto un clone del più famoso Twitter.

Ho l’impressione che Google abbia spostato le sue acquisizioni verso piccole start-up, probabilmente per prendere a basso costo le loro tecnologie e quindi integrarle nei loro sistemi. Un paio di settimane fa é stato acquisito anche Zingku, un servizio molto simile a Jaiku ma con un focus spostato maggiormente verso l’area delle reti sociali.
Da diverso tempo si parla di un grosso progetto in casa Google, che dovrebbe diventare una piattaforma comunicativa colossale. Sono quindi forse legati gli annunci riguardo il software mobile GPhone e l’acquisizione di Grand Central, azienda che offre servizi per la telecomunicazione mobile.
